Tech startups are increasingly focused on tackling the world's most pressing environmental and societal issues. Meanwhile, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) have become an imperative in every industry, and definitely in venture capital and the tech industry. While team composition and bias issues have emerged as crucial, it's time to also bring DEI into the way teams of innovators and investors work and think about developing innovations that tackle global issues.
